Becker CPA Review Scheduled



The School of Accountancy is pleased to announce its fourth offering of the Becker Conviser CPA Exam Review course for Spring 2007.  The course is designed to help prepare students for their professional exam.  Students are encouraged to complete the course during their final semester of their Master's program.  The graduates of the program have historically had terrifically high passage rates on the CPA exam compared to non-graduates. 

The course meets in 26 four hour sessions.  All four parts of the CPA exam are covered:  Financial, Audit, Regulation (includes Tax), and Business Environment. 

Financial information professionals today are so well integrated with computers that the new CPA Exam has specific computer-based simulations built into the exam.  The simulations are intended to recreate typical job related cases.  The Becker course includes examples of simulations mirroring the type test takers will see on the exam.
