 Our mission is to prepare students for successful careers in accounting and business in a technology-oriented environment that promotes active learning, scholarly exploration, and service.
- Over twenty accounting firms, corporations, and government agencies are currently registered for the Adkerson School Career Fair (formerly Meet the Firms) to be held Thursday, August 28, from 12-3 in the Colvard Student Union ballroom. - Dr. John Rigsby (with Dr. Michael Meyer and Jeff Boone) recently received the Highly Commended Award from the Emerald LiteratiNetwork for his article in the Managerial Auditing Journal. more
- Walt Pavlo Jr., a nationally recognized speaker on white-collar crime, will visit with students and the business community on September 10-11. A former mid-level MCI Communications executive, Walt pleaded guilty to embezzling $6 million from his employer and served two years in federal prison. more
- Can 2 + 2 = 5? The Math of an Accounting Fraud is the title of a new one-hour freshman experience course available to any student interested in learning more about white-collar crime. more
