Kevyn Shelledy may be from the small town of Tomball, Texas, but she sure has made an impact on the soccer field at MSU. Shelledy is a junior majoring in accounting.

After many recruiting trips, Shelledy chose Starkville, Mississippi as her home away from home. Shelledy said that State offered the best college atmosphere in comparison with other colleges she considered. It did not hurt that she also liked the Bulldog’s coaching staff.

“Mississippi State is far enough from home, but relatively close at the same time,” said Shelledy.

When Shelledy is not on the field, she is focusing on school. She plans to graduate a semester early and begin graduate school. Shelledy hopes to be a graduate assistant for the soccer team while furthering her education. She hopes to somehow link soccer and accounting together for her future career goals.
