Major Program Objectives:
The Mississippi State University Small Business Development Center in Starkville, MS was established in 1981 to assist small business owners and entrepreneurs. Our center is one of ten located in Mississippi. Our service area covers ten counties surrounding the Golden Triangle Area. The counties include: Kemper, Lauderdale, Lowndes, Montgomery, Oktibbeha, Noxubee, Webster, Clay, Winston, and Choctaw. We are a free service sponsored by the MSU College of Business & Industry. We do not provide loans. All information discussed is confidential. We can assist you in your efforts to create a business plan for expansion of your present business or the start-up of a new business. Small business owners and entrepreneurs in the Mississippi State University Small Business Development Center area are invited to take advantage of our services.
