Articles: journal articles published in leading MIS Journals, IS related Conference Proceedings, and others (See BIS 9113 Reading List); (other link); (other MIS journal lists)

Course objectives:
This seminar will not exhaust the literature in an attempt to prepare you for your comprehensive examinations. Rather, our purpose is to show you how to find the literature on any specific topic and to critically read that material. One goal, therefore, is to secure a framework within which all of the various MIS/DSS (including SIS, e-commerce, data wareshousing, knowledge management) areas will make sense. Another goal is to sharpen your teaching/presentation skills. Your success in this course will depend primarily on your ability to present complex material in a coherent fashion.

Every participant completing the seminar should:

Grading:

                  Revision of term paper                       10%
