DESCRIPTION OF PROCESS FOR CHANGING POLICY:
Majority vote by the College of Business and Industry Graduate Faculty.
DESCRIPTION OF RELATED PROCEDURE:
Satisfaction of the above prerequisite courses will be determined by the student’s
Graduate Program Committee upon initial acceptance into the program. Satisfaction
may be evidenced by either formal course work or testing (i.e., CLEP or DANTES)
or by providing substantial written evidence of course content knowledge gained
through related career experience or coursework in other areas. The student’s
status with regard to the business foundation courses will be shown on the
“Proposed Program of Graduate Study” once the student enters the program.
Students in the program will be required to complete, or be simultaneously
enrolled in, all unsatisfied foundation courses before being allowed to enroll
in the corresponding graduate courses in their program of study. Exceptions
to this enrollment requirement can be made by the Director of Graduate Studies
in Business to accommodate scheduling and other conflicts.
