Conference by Doctoral Program Committee

DESCRIPTION OF POLICY:
The Ph.D. student’s Graduate Program Committee should meet for a programming conference with the student within the first regular semester after the student’s enrollment.
DESCRIPTION OF PROCESS
FOR CHANGING POLICY:
Majority vote by the College
of Business and Industry Graduate Faculty.
DESCRIPTION OF RELATED PROCEDURE:
The meeting is called by the Chairman of the committee and scheduled through the Office of Graduate Studies in Business. The purpose of this meeting is to specify a “Program of Graduate Study.” A physical meeting of the committee as a whole is not absolutely necessary if the committee can otherwise agree on a Proposed Program of Graduate Study.
REVIEW OF POLICY/PROCEDURE:
This COBI-AOP will be reviewed at least every five years by the Graduate Policies Committee at the request of the Graduate Director with request for revision presented to the College of Business and Industry Graduate Faculty.
