DESCRIPTION OF POLICY:
A student should be allowed
to make a grade lower than “B” in no more that six credit hours in a graduate
degree program.
DESCRIPTION OF PROCESS
FOR CHANGING POLICY:
Majority vote by the College
of Business and Industry Graduate Faculty.
DESCRIPTION OF RELATED
PROCEDURE:
When a student receives a grade
below “B” in excess of six hours of coursework on his or her program of study,
it is considered unsatisfactory progress. The student’s program will be
terminated immediately due to unsatisfactory progress. Program changes will not be permitted to circumvent
this rule.
REVIEW OF
POLICY/PROCEDURE:
This COBI-AOP will be reviewed at least every five years by the Graduate Policies Committee at the request of the Graduate Director with request for revision presented to the College of Business and Industry Graduate Faculty.
