DESCRIPTION OF POLICY:
Graduate lecture and discussion
oriented courses will not exceed about 25 students, and graduate case and
doctoral seminar courses will not exceed about 20 students.
DESCRIPTION OF PROCESS
FOR CHANGING POLICY:
Majority vote by the College
of Business and Industry Graduate Faculty.
DESCRIPTION OF RELATED
PROCEDURE:
The director of Graduate
Studies in Business will advise the academic units in the College of the number
of sections required and appropriate size limits based on anticipated
enrollment for the semester in which classes are being scheduled. Following pre-registration for that
semester, the Director will inform the academic units of any changes that need
to be effected with regard to course offerings and size limits.
REVIEW OF
POLICY/PROCEDURE:
This COBI-AOP will be reviewed at least every five years by the Graduate Policies Committee at the request of the Graduate Director with request for revision presented to the College of Business and Industry Graduate Faculty.
